Angelus Temple and Azusa Street Prints
The "birthplace" of a dynamic church-planting movement that is now impacting over 130 countries around the world, Angelus Temple was dedicated in 1923 by Sister Aimee Semple McPherson. This original oil painting depicts the faithful leaving the Temple after a special missions service during the Denomination's convention circa 1935. Sister herself is looking on and looking forward in the lower left-hand corner. |
